Your Rights as a Temporary Worker
Key Information Document
Before starting any assignment, you will receive a Key Information Document (KID) containing details about pay rates, holiday entitlement, and other essential information about your engagement.
Agency Workers Regulations 2010
After 12 weeks in the same role, you are entitled to the same basic working and employment conditions as permanent employees doing the same job.
Your Entitlements Include:
- National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage
- Statutory holiday pay (5.6 weeks per year)
- Protection from unlawful deductions from wages
- Rest breaks and working time limits
- Protection from discrimination
- Health and safety protection

No Fees to Workers
In accordance with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, we do not charge work-seekers any fees for finding them work. Our services are completely free for workers. If anyone asks you to pay a fee to find work through Opus, please report it to us immediately.

How do I sign up as a worker?
Visit our "For Workers" page and click "Start Earning Today". You'll complete a quick registration, verify your right to work in the UK, and can start accepting shifts once approved.
What are your rates?
From £20/hr all-in for minimum wage roles – 11-23% cheaper than traditional agencies. This covers everything: worker pay (competitive rates), holiday pay, NI, pension, and compliance. Visit our Pricing page for full details.
How quickly can I fill shifts?
Most shifts are filled within minutes. Our WhatsApp-first approach means workers can accept shifts instantly from their phones.
How do you verify workers?
All workers complete right-to-work verification, background checks where required, and sign digital contracts before their first shift. We maintain full compliance records.
When do workers get paid?
Workers are paid weekly, every Friday, for work completed in the previous week. All PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions are handled automatically.
